The Team

The team at Summit IR Group consists of senior professionals whose combined backgrounds include more than 35 years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, media relations, and journalism. The team has worked for many years with public companies across multiple industries, from semiconductors, telecommunications, Internet and software to diversified industrial and health care.

Jim Fanucchi has managed the day-to-day investor relations for micro- to mid-cap companies as an investor relations consultant for nearly a decade. Mr. Fanucchi's investor relations focus has been primarily in the technology area.

Prior to co-founding the Summit IR Group, Mr. Fanucchi worked for Bay Area-based investor relations agencies where his responsibilities included creating and executing programs for a variety of technology companies.

Before initiating his career in investor relations, Mr. Fanucchi worked for nearly 10 years in the broadcasting industry as both a broadcaster and operations manager, including serving as a Director of Operations and overseeing a staff of 25.

Mr. Fanucchi earned his National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Series 7 and Series 63 certifications. He is also a member of the National Investor Relations Institute.

Mr. Fanucchi received his B.A. from San Jose State University, and M.B.A., graduating with Beta Gamma Sigma honors, from San Francisco State University.

Mary McGowan has more than 20 years of professional experience in investor relations at both the corporate and agency level. Prior to co-founding Summit, she worked for Bay Area investor relations agencies where her responsibilities included designing and executing IR programs for clients primarily in the technology arena.

In the mid 1990s, Ms. McGowan owned and operated her own New York-based consulting practice, Beekman Associates, which specialized in IR targeting, investor conference audits, in-depth benchmark studies, and program design and implementation for both small- and large-cap companies.

Ms. McGowan’s experience also included participating in research teams for Rivel Research, a well-respected quantitative research firm. These teams conducted on-site interviews of European institutional investors in American securities to assess their perceptions, interest and information needs.

Clients for which she performed research & analysis as well as IR support over the years included technology-oriented companies such as Oak Technologies, PRI Automation, Ramtron International, as well as various blue-chip companies, including Dover Corporation, Union Pacific and United Technologies.

Ms. McGowan began her IR career in the early 1980s at CBS, Inc. where she was Director of Investor Relations. Ms. McGowan holds a B.A. degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz and attended Marist College, where she majored in Finance.
